Congratulations to the Osaka Sakai Toastmasters Club on its 10th anniversary.
I have heard that Toastmasters clubs have a long history and are clubs that foster leadership and enhance public speaking skills in various countries around the world.
At a time when diversity is in high demand, it is wonderful to be involved in activities that allow us to connect and share ideas through speeches, regardless of hierarchy and across generations.
As Japan becomes increasingly internationalized, I believe it is very important for the public and private sectors to nurture people who can communicate from Japan.
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors to accommodate many people who want to learn.

Club Leaders and Members of Osaka Sakai Toastmasters Club:
Congratulations on your 10th Anniversary! This is a noteworthy milestone in your club’s history.
Reaching this milestone indicates that your club is fulfilling the club mission; serving your members by providing a supportive environment where members develop and practice their communication and leadership skills. This achievement also demonstrates that your club has established a Toastmasters legacy, ensuring a sustainable club experience for your members.
Since it was chartered on June 10, 2013, your club has set a good example by constantly achieving the high recognitions, developing outstanding leaders and fulfilling members’ needs.
Despite the ongoing challenge with the huge impact of Covid-19 for the past 3 years, you have maintained a healthy and stable club. You proved that dedication, resilience, and hard work can allow you to overcome hardship. There are still many uncertainties in the 2022-2023 program year, but your club has done a phenomenal job by achieving 4 goals already so far. I know through your continuous dedication and your determination you will become Distinguished status again or even President’s Distinguished Club for the first time, will you?
The Distinguished Club Program is the best measure we have of how effective a club is at meeting its mission. It tells us that members are achieving goals. It tells us that new members are joining, bringing a greater diversity of feedback. It tells us that members are dedicated to improving themselves and that officers are committed to getting the training they need so the members of
their club can get the most out of their Toastmasters experience. I’m so looking forward to recognizing your club in July for being a Distinguished club because it truly does matter.
As your International President this year, it is indeed my privilege to acknowledge your club’s achievement and celebrate the 10th anniversary. I wish your club continued success for many years to come in meeting the needs of your members, fulfilling the club mission, and growing
outstanding leaders for Toastmasters is truly where leaders are made!

It is my great pleasure to congratulate Osaka Sakai Toastmasters Club on its 10th anniversary. On behalf of all Area F 2 club members, I would like to express my deepest respect to the founding members for their determination and enthusiasm, and to all of you for your tireless efforts in maintaining and developing the club over the past ten years.
Sakai is a city of merchants, history, and culture. This club has the features of this city. The members are a group full of personalities, from those who wear kimonos in style to those who can't stop talking like a Rakugo storyteller. They are also generous enough to laugh at my cheap jokes.
I have high expectations. I hope that your club will maintain these characteristics and, in the spirit of its founding, fully demonstrate the leadership and communication skills you have cultivated through the club
activities, and open the way to the future.
